I always make an effort to bring my family out for a holiday trip once a year to relax ourselves and to get together. But recently, I heard from my buddy, John, that he has just went for a local holiday in the log cabin Wales. As it was the first time that I heard about it, I asked him to share his experience on log cabin with me.
As I was curious, I asked him why he wanted to spend his holiday locally. He told me that he has only a few days off from work and it was too rush for him if he brings his family for an overseas trip. But he didn’t want to stay at home, thus he chose to give log cabin holiday a try. In fact, I just realize that log cabin holidays are getting pretty popular these days as it caters to those who need a short holiday.
As we were chatting, John mentioned that he had only spent less than $300 for 3 days 2 nights stay. I was pretty surprised when I hear this because I expect it to cost about $1000 or so. According to John, travelers only need to pay for the rental of the cabin and the rest of the facilities are free. We can use the gym, sports facilities and even the swimming pool. There are other activities that you might need to fork out a bit of money but it is still worthwhile I believe.
“Did you go during winter?” I said.
John nodded. The log cabin actually provides them with the required necessity for a cozy stay. It is packed with logs which could be burnt to keep warm and hot tea is available as well. To me, they are pretty thoughtful to include those items in the cabin. After this short chat, John took out his IPhone and showed me the photos they took. The scenery was magnificent and it would be such a great experience to enjoy the beautiful scenery with our family and friends while temporarily forgetting about the stress we are facing in work.
I decide to try out the log cabin holiday with my family during the Christmas and I certainly look forward to it. Looks like it will be so much fun. For those that are reading my blog and I keen to try on these type of holiday, try to call up the log cabin and request for more information. It is time to have this Christmas!
